I highly recommend that you check out this game in the RGR as soon as you can and play the game until the end. In conclusion, this is an amazing game over all. The game obviously get gets harder over time, but it is just the right amount of a difficulty rise each level.
There are some parts that are very tricky and there are some things that if they touch you, it is an instant death such as spikes, lava, and red frogs that shoot lava at you. You gain lives very quickly so for about half the game, I had about 80 - 99 lives because I did not die very much. Quite frankly this isn't a very difficult game, or so I find. The last thing I am going to talk about is the difficulty. In total in this entire game, you will have to collect 600 red coins, 300 flowers and then finally 1800 stars. You will probably have to replay the levels to collect them all. Let's not forget about collectibles though. That many levels in one game will keep you occupied for a very long time. Now let's not forget about the 2 bonus levels each world making that a grand total of 60 whooping levels. This is actually a pretty long game that will keep you satisfied for a long time. We are now onto talking about the depth of the game. Baby Luigi and taken, and baby Mario falls near a group of Yoshi's who team up and help Baby Mario Get back his brother back. Then out of nowhere something hits the swan and it drops the two babies out of the sky. In the beginning of the game, you find a swan delivering baby Mario and baby Luigi to their parents. This game is very addictive, so be careful. There is also 2 bonus levels in each world for you to unlock and play. There are 10 red coins, 5 flowers, and 30 stars all in each level. There are also many things for you to collect throughout every level. When I had the physical copy of this game, I played it multiple time over and over again because I loved it so much. This game is so great that you want to play it over again. We aren't going to hold us back though now, are we? Third on my list of things to talk about for this review is the addictiveness. The only part of the sound that I dislike, it when baby Mario is thrown off your back and he starts crying. The music choices for this game is just perfect. You have your gloomy music very when you are running around in caves, your scary music when you are infiltrating a bosses castle, and happy and cheerful when you are in the sky. I find that the sounds is crystal clear and the sound track is awesome. The amount of detail put into Yoshi's Island's scenery is very remarkable. They are all cheery and colourful when you are hopping around in the sky, and they are dark and glooming when you are jumping over lava in a cave. I remember when I was little, I thought the graphics were amazing and I still do today. First off, let's talk about the graphics. When Yoshi's Island was first released, it had positive reviews because of selling about 4,000,000 after release. It was then ported to the Gameboy Advanced which is the version I am talking about.
